Just sayin’  4th edition    January 2010   Newsletter of the BCPN

Happy, Healthy, Prosperous and Fun New Year!

That’s what I am wishing for me and you to experience in 2010!

Again, I would like to extend my personal gratitude to all of you for your continued friendship and business in the past year!

From this mornings meeting, here’s the new sign-in procedure:

Beginning at next week’s meeting (1/20/10), we will have a new attendance monitoring process.

When you arrive at the meeting, proceed to the table at the rear of the room (i.e., where the Board members sit). The will be a clipboard on the table with a listing of all members. Please initial the box next to your name under the week of the meeting.

If you arrive after The Pledge of Allegiance has begun (i.e., late), you will not be able to sign the rear-table clipboard. Instead, please initial the clipboard located at the front of the room (i.e., where you enter the meeting room. This will confirm that you attended, but arrived late.

Also, a report from the Marketing Committee:

Marketing committee had its first official meeting. In attendance were
Ryan Parry, David Gerity, Monika Polakevic, David Mazer (President) and Phil Sidkoff.

Time was spent to get organized with "what" the committee should focus on. We are gearing up for an active year. Active in the sense of building membership value, reaching out to the community whether in person or online.

Our meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of each month, right after the BCPN weekly meeting. Attendance from all members is welcomed.  Ryan

I thought I would add a few of the email addresses I was able to catch for anyone who is interested: smartbrief.com, just sell.com, Blabbermouth.net.

I would again like to implore those of you who are interested to send me any thing you would like to share with the group. Events you are involved in, things about your business or life that would be of interest to the group.

With the January thaw comes warmer weather and time to make plans for the Spring. D & S Boat Sales is in high swing accomplishing those winter make-overs of canvas, boat interiors, electronic equipment installations, and engine or out drive repairs. If your boat needs some attention, we can do it for you in our year round full service shop. Also, keep in mind our in-water boat show for the weekend of March 27-28, 2010. More details to come next month.

December 5th was the superb holiday party at Slate Blue.  To say it was outstanding would be a gross understatement.  A grand time was had by all those who attended. Pictures will follow shortly.
